What is Bitumen Paint?

Bitumen Paint is a mixture of bitumen with white sprit including stabilizer additives and viscosities stuff. Bitumen paint is used for painting of concrete, cement, wood and steel structure. The bitumen paint is used as prime coat and sealant.

How apply bitumen paint on surface.

When you are applying bitumen paint on the surface, it should be free of dust and debris. The surface should be free of oil and moisture before using.

It is better to wait 4-12 hours to get fully.

Bitumen Paint Waterproof:

It is used for waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion resistant protective coating. It is resistant to low concentrations of alkalis and acids and can withstand prolonged oxidation. It is useful for use with portable drinking water tanks.

Bitumen paint waterproofing is a solvent based, full bodied black bitumen paint, when dry, the product is odorless and taint free bitumen film suitable for the protection of metals, concrete roofing, felt, fiber cement, corrugated iron, asphalt and wood against water attack.

For the transport of bitumen paint you have to obey below terms:

R10 -Flammable. Section 3
R51/53 -Toxic to aquatic organisms, may cause long term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.
R65 -Harmful: may cause lung damage if swallowed
R66 -Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
